Responsibilities:

• Manage, monitor and troubleshoot in-house network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless control.

• Provision, manage and support public cloud networks like AWS or Alibaba Cloud.

• Configure controllers, hypervisors, logical switches/routers, load balancers in SDN environments.

• Monitor and troubleshoot connectivity issues.

• Implement and manage network policies, micro-segmentation and security.

• Monitor health, performance and capacity of overall network services.

• Work closely with IT, Security, and Ops teams to deliver reliable and secure network experiences.

Requirements:

• Degree: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related fields.

• Experience: 3+ years experience as a network administrator or engineer.

• Solid network fundamentals: Strong understanding of core network concepts like protocols, routing, switching, and security principles.

• Cloud familiarity: Experience working with major cloud platforms and their network services (e.g., AWS VPC, Alibaba Cloud VPC).

• SDN enthusiast: Interest in and basic understanding of SDN concepts and technologies.

• Troubleshooting wizard: Skillful in analyzing network logs, identifying root causes of issues, and implementing effective solutions.

• Team player: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.

• Continuous learner: Passionate about staying updated on the ever-evolving network landscape.

Bonus Points:

• Network certifications like CCNA, HCIA, VCP.

• Experience with specific SDN solutions like VMware NSX-T/V, Cisco ACI, or OpenDaylight.

• Linux system administration and troubleshooting skills.

• Automation experience with tools like Ansible or Terraform.
