Head of Sales for Business Developers

We are looking for an experienced and high-energy Head of Sales with a proven and demonstrable track-record to join our fast growing team. The primary function of this role is to accelerate the growth of sales primarily through the hiring and managing of Business Developers (BDs).
Job Duties:
- Manage overall sales operations. Set goals for BDs for new IB and customer activation, existing IB and customer retention, partnership acquisition, and overall conversion rates.
- Establish BD targets by forecasting and setting annual sales quotas for regions; forecast expected sales and profits for existing and new products.
- Closely monitor day-to-day sales operations and provide BDs with guidance and practical advice to improve their Performance.
- Maintain sales force by recruiting, selecting, locating and training BDs; as well as counseling and disciplinary action against employees; planning, monitoring and evaluating work results.
- Collaborate with Marketing on promotions and IB/ Client acquisition. Develop new sales strategies to properly approach each customer segment.
- Identify and develop new BD strategies and convert them into profitable new business and assist with other sales and marketing events such as expo and conferences.
- Ensure reports and other internal intelligence and insights are provided to sales and marketing organizations. Report on key KPIs related to lead and opportunity waterfalls for a consistent closed loop between marketing and sales.
- Validate the quality of lead and pipeline data through reporting and analysis, and provide guidance to improve overall data quality.
Skills & Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of 10+ BD management experience.
- Ability to find and assist in employing relevant BDs to join the company.
- Ability to understand the impact of operational initiatives from a sales or marketing person’s perspective.
- Ability to prepare reports and use of appropriate mode of communication. Must be proficient at analyzing data, building reporting and making strategic recommendations based on data and trends.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines.
- Proven success working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Keen business sense, with the ability to find creative business-oriented solutions to problems.
